Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 106 represents the Deputies, Sergeants and Lieutenants of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, working with Anne Arundel County to provide an environment for the Deputies to professionally serve the citizens of Anne Arundel County, while protecting the rights of our members
The Lodge provides members with the FOP Legal Defense Plan coverage for matters such as labor disputes, discipline and legal liability
Deputies have primary responsibility for:
- Serving Arrest Warrants
- Serving Domestic Violence Court Orders
- Serving both Circuit Court and District Court Summons and Subpoenas
- Serving Domestic Relations Child support Summons and Warrants
- Protecting the Circuit Court, Court Personnel, and the Public
Anne Arundel County Police have primary responsibility for traffic enforcement and calls for police service, but Deputies issue traffic citations as observed and respond with the Police to serious calls.
